History
R. Cordeiro & Associado has its legal roots dating back to 2013 as a way to continue the professional activity of account review initiated by its founder, João Humberto Silva Cardoso. The relationship with clients and the market is therefore as old as the exercise of supervisory functions in companies. The first audit work dates back to 1984.
The auditing profession has undergone profound changes throughout its history, and the challenges ahead remain significant. Auditors have always been required to meet increasingly high performance and accountability standards.

In 2015, with the entry of Rúben Cordeiro as a partner, following a period of technical collaboration, a new phase began, focusing on audit methodologies and teamwork. The firm underwent an important transformation, expanding its number of clients and employees, yet its core institutional values remain unchanged.
In 2022, the firm consolidated its market position, extending its portfolio to over 30 legal account review clients across various entities based on the islands of São Miguel, Terceira, Faial, and Santa Maria.
Currently, with the increasing demand for auditing services, we continue to grow with the support of a magnificent team of 8 auditors.
